Fully integrated plug-in: all your work is done directly inside the Unity editor.
The CaronteFX engine includes the most precise mesh to mesh contact algorithm, which allows it to solve highly complex problems while respecting the laws of physics.
High-quality collision detection and contact response, even with very complex shapes.
Rigid bodies simulation includes internal pressure, producing high quality stacking and grasping scenes.
Supports animated meshes, skinned or not.
Several automatic modes for joint creation between any kind of body. Breaking behavior and plastic deformation.
More examples: Explosions 2
Explosions affect exposed bodies surfaces, allowing occlusion effects and localized consequences. Configuration includes asymmetry settings
Add moving air to your scene. You can have motionless air present (avoiding the vacuum effect in your animations) or even create an underwater atmosphere.
It is possible to generate Unity events when contact occurs between specific bodies, allowing synchronized particles or sounds emissions.
Trigger elements allow different actions to be unleashed during the simulation (like substitutions or parameter modifications). Activation may be triggered by elapsed time, due to bodies collision or because the wave front of an explosion reaches certain bodies.
CaronteFX Player supports frame interpolation of baked animations, saving memory and allowing bullet time animations. CaronteFX Player is accelerated by mesh gathering techniques, obtaining high performance in the reproduction of animations with a large number of elements.
In addition to fracture possibilities, there are tools to carry out complex selections of objects, to weld two pieces in contact into one, to further tessellate meshes and also to create new meshes that can be used as auxiliary elements in several tasks.
The solver has many resources to try and simulate successfully, even when input meshes are not properly constructed.
All elements in the scene (bodies, joints, motors, explosions, etc.) interact perfectly with each other.
It is possible to choose the simulation quality, saving time when your scene does not require special precision.
Number of bodies is only bounded by current Unity limits (in CaronteFX Pro). Caronte FX Free offers a limited number of nodes.
