RealFlow is a comprehensive toolkit for fluid and dynamics simulation that makes it easy to experiment with, control and visualize the behavior of fluids and their interaction with a surrounding environment. RealFlow was the first, and remains the definitive tool for creating dramatic, accurate and realistic simulation effects in the Computer Graphics market (notably in feature films and television commercials).
The RealFlow technology is based on Next Limit's proprietary XPH technique (Extended Particle Hydrodinamics). XPH is a novel particle simulation technology that improves on existing methods, solving most of the issues of other tools. The main benefits of this method reside in its natural way of representing the fluid, with no need to create a computational grid, and its suitability for situations with high deformation and complex interaction with moving boundaries.
