The latest technology under development within Next Limit is a new Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) package, targeted for engineering and scientific analysis, with unseen features, called "XFlow™".
XFlow solver is based on a proprietary meshless particle approach to the fluid equations. With this unique fluid solver, the meshing process is not required, and very complex transient phenomena may be analyzed (even involving moving or deforming boundaries).
XFlow includes a proprietary structural solver, allowing fully coupled Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) analysis where the fluid equations are solved simultaneously with the solid equations.
