The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has awarded Victor Gonzalez, Ignacio Vargas and Angel Tena with a Technical Achievement Award for the creation of RealFlow, hailing it as “the first widely-adopted, commercially-available, easy-to-use system for the simulation of realistic liquids in motion picture visual effects”.
